United States Capitol Christmas Tree stopping in Evanston!
Wednesday, November 10th - Evanston Machine Shop - 6pm
For the first time in histroy, WYoming has been invited to provide the United States Capitol Christmas Tree! The Tree will be coming from the Bridger - Teton National Forest and will be staying the night in Evanston before continuing its journey across the nation to its place of honor.
6pm - Mary Cernicek - Opening Remarks and History of the Tree
6:15 - Ribbon Cutting - Mayor and Red Carpet Committee
6:20 - Bryan Ragsdale - Cowboy Christmas Tree CD
6:30 - Mixer - Food, coffee & Hot Chocolate, Entertainment
7:50 - Fireworks - provided by Porter's Fireworks
SAFV is looking for volunteers to foster pets for of families trying to escape domestic violence. If you are interested in helping, please contact Teresa Odell at 307-679-8769.
SAFV is also looking for volunteers to help with the "Road to Recover" to drive cancer patients to their treatment appointments.
